A reputable shipping agency desires to recruit a resourceful and
open minded Commercial Executive to be based in Mombasa.
The incumbent will be required to lead and develop business for the company
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the candidate will be responsible for day
to day vessel management including all associated documentation for customs
purposes and organizing any services required whilst vessels are in port.The incumbent will be required to lead and develop business for the company
Developing and building on existing and new commercial relationships with shipping lines and importers/exporters will be critical to the success of this role.
To be successful the candidate needs to have at least 2 years experience in the shipping industry. With the ability to negotiate, secure and manage new business opportunities you must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must possess a ‘can do attitude’ and be able to hit the ground running.
The candidate must be a holder of at least a diploma in maritime/freight management BUT experience is paramount. Bachelors degree and ICS qualifications will add value to your application.
