Chicken Processing Production Manager

Bradegate Holdings Limited is urgently seeking to recruit a
production manager to head the production operations of our Chicken production
plant.
The incumbent will be expected to:
- Coordinate
monitor, account and offer leadership in the operations of the processing
plant by instituting proper operating procedures that will result in
maximum throughputs (200 chicken /per hr.),
- Maintain
Low breakdowns, reduced wastage and loses, zero tolerance to accidents,
- Promote
production of High quality products,
- Comply
with statutory bodies requirements e.g. NEEMA, WARMA and local
authorities,
- Justify
employment costs and other expenditures,
- Account
of all inputs to the factory and products leaving the factory.
- Schedule
routine plant maintenance
- sustain
a zero meat spoilage percentage and return from customers
- Schedule
staff leaves for employees in his Department.
- Institute
proper effluent management procedures
- Ensure
zero staff unrest from his section.
- Maintain
very high standards of meat packaging.
- Ensure
deliverance of meat orders is made on a timely manner.
Applicants of this position MUST have the following academic
qualifications:
- A
degree in Food Science from a recognized institution
- Must
be computer literate
- Must
have good knowledge of report writing
Working Experience
Any person applying for this position must have a minimum of a
five years progressive working experience in a similar position (particularly
in meat processing plant)

portray very high levels of integrity and must be a good planner.
- Must
have good problem solving skills, well-disciplined and must be a good team
leader.
