Our client a global leader in Business Process and Technology
Management seeks to recruit an Application Support – IT Senior Analyst with an
experience to manage the Application Support role including managing backend
issues for Oracle Financials, setting up and managing the scheduled programs
and troubleshooting user issues globally.
- Managing
backend issues for Oracle Financials
- Setting
up and managing the scheduled programs and troubleshooting user issues
globally
- Implementing
systems, but also supporting, administration and maintenance of already
existing systems
- Ensuring
quality services are delivered and performed to the agreed standards
- Minimizing
service disruption and the facilitation of services restoration within
agreed standards
- Developing
and maintaining Application Support standards, procedures and other
documentation as required
- Managing
the Application Support role internationally
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Degree/
Advanced Diploma in computer science, IT, software engineering
- Minimum
of 2 years experience in a similar position
- Good
understanding of Oracle Financials, setting up and managing the scheduled
programs
- Ability
to manage accounting software
- Technical
expertise in User Support, systems maintenance and understanding of web
enabling technology
- Experience
with administrative systems and report writing skills
- Considerable
computing experience, including delivering support for database
applications in a variety of professional environments
- Considerable
experience in dealing with a wide range of users at all levels in an
organization
- Understanding
of IT Services supporting these Business activities
