Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer

Key Responsibilities
·                     Liaise, coordinate and follow up the activities of the external lawyers who deal with the organization’s matters such as debt collection, litigation, conveyance and court proceedings.
·                      Draft, peruse, and review legal documents for the organization including but not limited to lease agreements, service contracts and employment contracts.
·                     Prepare legal reports for the organization as required from time to time & update the statutory books
·                     Carry out research and monitor changes in the relevant legislation and regulatory environment and advise the organization.
·                     Monitor contractual and statutory compliance.
·                     Receive correspondence, orders and pleadings on behalf of the organization and act on them.
·                     Management of the corporate affairs and corporate social responsibility functions of the organization.
·                     Performance Management.
Qualifications
·                     Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university
·                     Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holder of a valid practicing certificate
·                     Certified Public Secretary CPS (K) will be an added advantage
·                     At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry
·                     Proficiency in computer software applications

 Human Resource Manager

Key Responsibilities
·                     Human Resource Planning.
·                     Coordinate staff recruitment, staff induction, retention and separation processes in accordance with company procedures.
·                     Develop and manage staff welfare schemes.
·                     Develop objective performance management systems and criteria for performance measurement.
·                     Assess staff training needs and develop training and development programs aimed at addressing the needs as well as building staff capacity to meet performance gaps.
·                     Facilitate separation, exits and disciplinary issues.
·                     Ensure proper management and effective implementation of the HR Management Information Systems.
·                     Ensure total compliance with relevant labor legislation and HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
·                     Prepare timely reports and relevant communication to employees.
·                     Change Management.
Qualifications
·                     Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
·                     A degree in Social Sciences/Business Administration or a related field from a recognized University
·                     Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
·                     At least 4 years’ working experience as a Human Resource Generalist in a busy& dynamic environment
·                     In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation
·                     Experience in use of HRMIS
