Kenya Co-operative Coffee Dealers Ltd (KCCD) is an established coffee dealer organization owned by Kenya Cooperative Coffee Exporters limited a coffee marketing cooperative which licensed as a commercial coffee marketing agent.
 
The KCCD seeks to fill in the following positions to propel business to new heights:
 

Marketing and PR Manager 
 
Reports to Group CEO
 
General purpose
 
To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies for products and thus meet company objectives.
 
Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities
 
Marketing
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Management of the marketing mix
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Develop pricing strategy
  • Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, colour, and packaging.
Public Relations                
  • Coming up with PR strategies
  • Building relationships with the media
  • Writing reports on media coverage data
  • Overseeing content production and delivery of adverts, videos, social media, brochures, company website for local and international use
  • Managing client relationships
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.

Job Specifications:
  • 4-6 years of sales experience in the marketing industry.
  • Experience with marketing of beverage and or fast moving consumer goods.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to work hands-on and take on the challenges of a start up  
  • Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional events
  • Ability to carry out public relations
Qualifications:
  • Degree in business studies.
  • Training in marketing will be an added advantage
Sales Representative
 
Reporting to the Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Establish new accounts, service existing accounts and obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusting content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandise techniques, etc.
  • Recommend changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Providing historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years sales experience in FMCG.
  • Experience with sales of beverages and/or fast moving consumer goods.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to work hands-on and take on the challenges of a start up  
  • Proven ability to synergise with marketing, advertising and promotional events
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Membership in professional bodies will be an added advantage
Stores Clerk
 
Reporting to the Production Supervisor
 
Responsibilities:
  • Management of the receipt, storage, and issuance of packaged coffee from the store and recording in the stocks record book
  • Reconciling of Delivery notes with purchase orders.
  • Monthly stock take and reconciliation of stock.
  • Oversee accurate receipting of all goods into stock, including verification of delivery notes and updating of the stock system.
  • Timely notification of any stocks falling below minimum stocking levels
  • Ensuring that items in stock are protected against damage, theft, losses, etc.
  • Responsible for regular cycle counts of all stock items and investigation of any variances
  • Responsible for monthly full stock take.
  • Production of regular reports on weekly and monthly basis
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years’ experience in stocks management.
  • Willingness to work hands-on and take on the challenges of a start up  
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Stocks Management
  • Membership in professional bodies will be an added advantage
