Key task
To effectively manage and ensure maintenance of the
organization’s residential and commercial properties to the satisfaction of the
tenants and shareholders.

- Interview
clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking
- Prepare
documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing
statements, deeds and leases.
- Act
as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally
representing one or the other.
- Promote
sale of properties through advertisements, open houses and participation
in multiple listing services.
- Generate
lists of properties that are compatible with buyers' needs and financial
resources.
- Display
commercial and residential properties to clients and explain their
features.
- Arrange
for title searches to determine whether clients have clear property
titles.
- Answer
clients' questions regarding construction work, financing, maintenance, repairs
and appraisals.
- Inspect
condition of premises and arrange for necessary maintenance or notify
owners of maintenance needs.
- Accompany
buyers during visits to and inspections of property, advising them on the
suitability and value of the homes they are visiting.
- Advise
sellers on how to make homes more appealing to potential buyers.
- Arrange
meetings between buyers and sellers when details of transactions need to
be negotiated.
- Review
property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attend
conventions, seminars and staff and association meetings in order to keep
abreast with matters related to real estate markets.
- Develop
networks of attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors to whom clients
may be referred.
- Visit
properties to assess them before showing them to clients.
- Solicit
and compile listings of available rental properties.
- Compare
a property with similar properties that have recently sold in order to
determine its competitive market price.
- Develop
networks of attorneys/lawyers/agents and contractors to whom the company
can be referred to.
- Co-ordinate
events marketing, planning and co-ordination at The Mall Roof top
- Create
marketing channels to promote the Mall’s activities and events
whilst enhancing the public’s awareness of the Mall’s brand positioning.
- Manage
communication and public relation assignments to support all the
initiatives for the Mall.
- Prepare
internal & external marketing material and publications including
newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters and flyers required for the
Mall’s programs and events.
- Facilitate
day-to-day management of the property (The Mall) and maintain professional
and courteous relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Perform
a variety of administrative duties in ensuring compliance with policies
and laws affecting leasing of the property (The Mall).
- Facilitate
regular inspection of The Mall.
- Ensure
prompt and effective tenant/Landlord correspondences, rent collections and
site visits in liaison with the Credit Controller and Group Property
Manager.
Job specification of Property Officer
- Degree
in Land Economics or equivalent
- At
least 3 years experience in real estate industry
- A
drive to achieve sales results
- Ability
to work autonomously
- Good
problem solving and decision making skills
- Good
staff management skills
- Good
communication and interpersonal skills
