Human Resource Manager

Our client, a well-established Bank in the East African region, with exceptional track record in offering customer based financial services, with its main office in Nairobi, Kenya, is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven South Sudanese National to fill the above position in their Juba branch. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, the main role of this position is to direct and manage all areas of human resource management.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Design and develop a functional human resource department
  • Develop and implement HR policy
  • Design and develop strategies for implementation of policies
  • Design, implement and manage strategic HR projects and initiatives
  • Develop and align the business and people strategies to drive business growth and performance
Qualifications, Experience and knowledge:
  • Be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
  • Professional banking qualifications will be added advantage
  • At least 5 years’ managerial experience
  • Work collaboratively and sensitively with people at all levels in a variety of contexts
  • Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
  • Knowledge of the region’s Employment and Labour Laws
