A growing Tours and Travel company is looking for a suitable
candidate to fill the position of a Travel Operations Supervisor whose main job content
will be to market andcoordinate operation of the travel department, issue air
tickets, work closely with the tours department to design tour packages for
target niches, organize travel logistics,liaise with supplying agencies,
negotiate and liaise with airlines and assist in general management of the
office.
- Have
relevant academic qualifications, preferably IATA diploma; a degree in a
relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
- Have
at least three years relevant experience in a busy tours and travel
organization
- Possess
good commercial and presentation skills
- Demonstrate
excellent marketing skills
- Possess
knowledge in air travel and ticketing including hands on experience with
GDS systems (Galileo or Amadeus).
- Be
able to work with minimal supervision.
