Pamoja Media East Africa is
an online marketing agency that builds applications to help our clients
interact and engage with both the African and the diaspora market online.
·
Experienced PHP developer familiar with the latest features of
PHP 5.4.
·
MySQL database setup, management and integration to PHP code.
·
Experience with the Content Management Systems especially
wordpress, joomla and modx.
·
Experience with Frameworks especially YII, Codeigniter, FuelPHP.
·
Experience with popular eCommerce systems and wordpress and
joomla eCommerce plugins/extensions.
·
Write Javascript code and work with jQuery and popular jQuery
plugins.
·
Write standards compliant HTML code and know how to use latest
HTML5 features.
·
Write CSS code and have knowledge of the differences between
CSS2 and CSS3 and common CSS browser compatibility issues.
·
Experience with linux and using SSH to setup manage websites.
·
Can work with Adobe Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop to
create HTML templates from a design.
In
addition, you should have the following skills:
·
Creative and dynamic approach to building applications.
·
Good communication skills and can work individually or in a team
to meet requirements.
·
Quick to learn and pick up new techniques and technology.
·
Thorough and precise in their work and a very keen eye to
detail. Very keen.
·
Ability to handle several projects at a time.
·
Knowledge of international web standards and protocols.
