MSH seeks to recruit highly motivated and result oriented individual to join the MEASURE Evaluation Project, an USAID funded project as a Senior Technical Advisor.
Senior Technical Advisor – Organizational Development (OD): ID NO.13-5742
The Senior Technical Advisor, OD will provide leadership and
organizational development technical assistance to M&E professionals and
teams at the national and county levels, as well as promoting sustainability of
those efforts through selected universities using our leadership,
organizational development models and business planning

S/he will serve on a core team of technical experts and work
with M&E teams in local institutions to develop skills in leadership,
management, systems thinking, change management, communication,
decision-making, and improve planning and implementation.
In addition s/he will establish technical strategic direction
for the leadership and OD component of the project through innovative
approaches to addressing organizational challenges and opportunities in an
effort to strengthen M&E systems and participate in the consultant
management process, including development of scopes of work, providing quality
assurance and review of deliverables.
The successful candidate will provide OD related technical
assistance including workshop facilitation, on-site coaching and mentoring to
teams of local health sector agencies to strengthen their M&E systems and
practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a master’s level
education in organizational development, public administration, management, social
sciences or a related field.
At least 7 years overall work experience with a minimum of 3
years of experience in capacity development, institutional strengthening,
monitoring and evaluation.
S/he should have knowledge and experience in leadership development, management and public sector systems (preferably in health).
S/he should have proven experience in organizational capacity
development, monitoring and evaluation, experience in providing technical
assistance to Public Health institutions, programs or projects in Kenya is
preferred.
In addition, s/he should have excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiating and influencing skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively across technical disciplines.
