Financial Controller

A vacancy exists for a Senior qualified and experienced Accountant for a reputable commodity / trading / logistics company in Mombasa, Kenya.

The candidate is expected to have, besides the requisite professional qualifications, at least 3 / 5 years working experience in not only preparation of books of accounts but also maintain correspondent supporting reports, Financial Budgeting, Banking matters, L.C. Documentation, Funds Management, M.I.S. Reporting, Credit Control, Payroll Handling, Inventory Control, Logistic and Office Administration.

The candidate should have good proficiency in MS Office, knowledge in using Sage or similar accounting package, be able to meet deadlines for management reports and meet all statutory requirements.

The potential candidate should be a team player with communication skills and a sound aptitude for learning, coupled with good reasoning abilities for problem solving. 

In addition, the candidate should have analytical and inter personal skills with strong determination and presentation technique and high standards of ethics and values.
