One of our clients in the Agribusiness sector seeks to engage suitable talent to join their team, as a Farm Manager.
Position: Farm Manager
The job reports to the General Manager
Main Purpose of the Job
Meeting the Production Customer demands by ensuring high yields in agricultural produce by maintaining good agronomic practices within farms to achieve company production targets while observing local and International standards and policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring crop production planning and targets are achieved as per business plan
  • Designing and implementing Farm policies, processes and procedures while maximizing on leveraged resources
  • Meeting the Production Quality standards and guidelines
  • Ensuring policies that provide a safe and conducive working environment for all employees, clients and visitors
  • Coaching & Mentoring, training, motivating and evaluating staff to achieve highest levels of performance
  • Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in Farm and Crop management
  • Coordinating and Farm reporting and communication requirements
  • Ensuring immediate security of assets and personnel allocated

Academic Qualifications
  • Degree in Agriculture with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in agriculture with 5 years relevant experience.
