The Position
 
Under the supervision of the Program Director, as a Support Services Coordinator, you will be in charge of:
  • Managing financial resources: budget, treasury, expenditure commitments, accounting, finance, reporting to donors/stakeholders
  • Implementing the program HR strategy and providing administrative management of human resources : recruitment, HR policy, management of contracts, training
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and the establishment of a legal framework : assist the program director in drawing partnership agreements, manage contractual documents
  • Establishing an administrative and an operational framework : management of the contracts for the living and work premises
  • Ensuring the program’s logistics management : general services, procurement, equipment, vehicle fleet and stocks
  • Assuring external/internal communication on administrative and financial issues
Candidate Profile:
 
Essential:
  • Graduate business school or Master degree in business management and administration, finance or economics
  • At least 3 years experience in an INGO as an administrator with international experience preferred
  • Financial, human resource, logistics and administration management and accounting experience
  • Strong managerial capacity and ability to manage a team both in Kenya and Somalia
  • Autonomy, discipline, adaptability, good interpersonal skills
Additional:
  • Team management, ability to unite
  • Knowledge of donor requirements and procedures
  • Pedagogy, Initiative
  • Experience working as an expatriate would be an asset
Required Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory, French is an asset
