Relationship Managers
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head, SACCO Banking, the job-holder will be responsible for liaison between customers and the Bank, to drive sales and foster mutually beneficial partnerships with dynamic and fast growing savings and credit co-operatives in Kenya.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To
be the principal point of contact for the Bank’s relationship with a
designated portfolio of savings and credit co-operative society (Sacco)
customers.
- To
develop business and drive increased earnings through broad based usage of
all the Bank’s products
- To
nurture customer relationships with a key focus on building and
maintaining long term mutually beneficial business partnerships
- To
participate in developing innovative products geared towards helping
Saccos serve their members better while ensuring the Bank’s profitability
objective is achieved in a sustainable manner
- To
actively manage portfolio at risk to meet set targets
- To
prepare and present high quality reports on portfolio performance and
other key metrics
- To
ensure quality service delivery to Sacco customers to achieve and exceed
agreed service levels
Minimum Requirements:
- A
Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
- AKIB/ACIB/CPA/ACCA/MBA
will be an added advantage.
- Minimum
of 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management and at least 2 years’
experience in credit and a proven record of successfully managing and
growing a portfolio of corporate banking clients.
- Experience
in managing relationships with dynamic financial institutions will be an
added advantage
- Formal
training in Lending
- Solid
experience in Relationship Management
Personal Attributes & Skills required in undertaking the
role:
- A
proven negotiator, skilled at finding win-win propositions in complex
situations
- Possess
excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify alternative
solutions in routine problem solving
- Ability
to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability
to make prompt decisions
- Proven
enthusiasm about emerging technology in financial service delivery
