Vacancies in the Hospitality Sector

Our Client, a New Hotel based in Kitale seeks to fill the following positions:-

Position Title: Hotel Manager
 
Qualifications & Key Competencies   
  • Diploma in Hotel Management from Utalii College or other reputable institution.
  • Possession of a 1st degree in Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.
  • Basic skills in IT and/or certificate in MS Office & Excel is desirable.
  • Competency & skills in using hospitality software e.g Sun Systems, Micros, EasiPOS.
Work Experience
  • Managed at a middle and higher management level, a busy establishment with a minimum of 30 guest bed capacity for a minimum of 6 years.
Position Title: Chef
 
Qualifications & Key Competencies   
  • Diploma in Food Production from Utalii College or other reputable institution.
  • Basic skills in IT.
Work Experience
  • Managed a busy kitchen in an establishment with a restaurant and 30 guest bed capacity for 6 years.
Position Title: Housekeeper
 
Qualifications & Key Competencies   
  • Diploma/Certificate in Housekeeping from Utalii College or equivalent institution.
  • Basic skills in IT.
  • Competency & skills in using hospitality software e.g Sun Systems, Micros, EasiPOS.
Work Experience
  • Managed an establishment with about 30 guest bed capacity for 6 years.
Position Title: Assistant Accountant    
 
Qualifications & Key Competencies
  • CPA (K) finalist.
  • 1st degree will be an added advantage.
  • Certificate in IT is a must.
  • Knowledge & skills in using hospitality software e.g Sun Systems, Micros, EasiPOS.
Work Experience
  • 5 years work experience, 3 of which must have been in a busy hotel.
Position Title: Receptionist
 
Qualifications & Key Competencies   
  • Certificate in Front Office from a Utalii College
  • Knowledge in Front office operations is a must.
Work Experience
  • 5 years work experience in a busy hotel.
