Research & Product Development Manager
 
Ref: RPD/10/012

You will among others be responsible for all research and product development activities which may include, the development of R&D strategies, policies and plans; coordinate research, interpret the results of research projects and recommend new products or services; provide advice on research and development options available to the organization interested in research.
 
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in business or statistics coupled with at least 4 years
relevant experience.
 
Competencies: The ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to analyze and collate information, good oral and written communication skills, a team player and ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Human Resources Officer
 
Ref: HR/10/012

The ideal person will provides technical and administrative support by performing the following key tasks. Policy development and oversight of human resources program; Process a variety of staff payroll actions such as appointments, promotions, separations; terminations, leave, salary, healthcare, life insurance and pensions changes; Carry out various HR related research projects and/or special projects; and provide customer service functions.
 
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree, HND HR. 3 years hands on experience in management consulting or equivalent combination of HR generalist practice and consulting experiences.
 
Competencies: They must have abilities to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of staff; Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative and demonstrated knowledge of the constitution and labor laws.

Client Relationship Officer (Pensions)

Ref: CRO/LP/10/012

The successful candidate will among others effectively manage corporate client relationships and ensure successful implementation of member educational and pension administration advice;To keep client up to date on changing pensions and related legislations; Prepare clients staff communications related to the scheme administration; Preparation of scheme reports and clients feedback.
 
Minimum job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Actuarial or related discipline coupled with 5 years hands on experience in pension administration.

Agronomist
 
Ref: AO/IM/10/012

This is a technical position where the job holder will among others sell and service Crop Insurance products to farmers;Assist in the development and implementation of crop insurance sales and products development plans; Provide technical guidance and products support to the agribusiness team; Conduct individual and group product educational demonstrations and assist with obtaining policy information from insured’s for processing.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field with no less than 3 years
of experience in the agriculture insurance field.

Competencies: A thorough understanding of hail and multi-peril crop insurance products and procedures, good interpersonal skills, ethical and a team player.

General Insurance Broking Managers (2)
 
Ref: BM/BD/01/012

The job holder will be required to provide support to the General Insurance sales team and perform the following key tasks; Provide tangible solutions and craft proposals for clients; Negotiate policy pricing and terms with underwriters; Respond to tenders and must have an understanding of the tender management process; Identify and understand client requirements via the sales team and build relationships with insurance carriers and carrier personnel to drive sales.
 
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree, ACII with 5 years insurance broking experience
 
Competencies:Enthusiastic and highly motivated person with the ability to interact at all levels;Thorough
understanding of the insurance market and products; A good all round knowledge of all classes of general
insurance; Excellent communication and negotiating skills with both clients and insurers.

Corporate Sales Manager (4)
 
Ref: CSM/BD/01/012

This is a senior position that requires the job holder to target various corporate clients, seek to understand their insurance (general/life/Medical) needs and develop need based solutions.

The job calls for someone who has appetite of revenue generation

Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years demonstrated experience with employee
benefits/general insurance sales experience of which 2 must be at a senior level.
 
Competences:Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Must be articulate and able to write and speak clearly and concisely, yet in an accurate and persuasive manner. Ability to prioritize workload, make decisions, and work effectively and efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Sales Executive (10) 

Ref: SE/BD/02/012

Stationed either at Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret and Nakuru, you will assist the business togenerate new business by contacting potential customers and selling one or more types of insurance as directed.
 
Education/Experience: Diploma is business field, COP certification coupled with 2 years demonstrated
experience with employee benefits/general insurance sales experience

Claims Executive (General Insurance)

Ref: CE/CD/12

You will among other tasks 
  • respond to client queries and request for documentation; 
  • Register claims and report to underwriters; 
  • Seek approval to appoint service providers; 
  • Respond to clients on course of action taken on the claim and how long it should take to be resolved;
  • Ensure that turnaround time of a claim is adhered to and update the system
Job Requirements: A degree in any business discipline, CII, MS Office working knowledge. Relevant
general insurance claims experience is advantageous.

Competencies: 
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to handle complaints, even when handling unpleasant customers;
  • Good use of office systems to analyse claims and prepare reports, 
  • Ability to suggest improvements to the various claims handling processes, 
  • flexibility and adaptability is not a choice.
