The job:
The Consultant is not required to focus on the strategic agenda
of Career Directions Ltd, but to manage the daily HR tasks with the line managers
and employees.
- Engages
in different people management projects in the business unit
- Executes
HR Strategy in close cooperation with line managers
- Use
relevant agreements, policies and legislation to provide expert human
resources consulting advice to managers and staff
- Management
Reporting – when required, produce reports and trend analysis for the
organisation or for designated departments to assist in monitoring HR
related matters.
- Under
direction, undertake and participate in key human resources and training
projects, researching issues and developing recommendations.
- Coordinate
the surveys and 360 degree feedback processes, including communication of
results and the implementation of workplace improvements
- Perform
coaching for staff when required to assist with staff personal development
need.
- Development
of regular detailed progress reports on projects assigned.
- Salary
review and evaluation exercises.
- Client
relations on request.
- Keeping
of accurate records.
The person:
- 5
years experience in a similar capacity/ field.
- Minimum
of a relevant university bachelor’s degree.
- exposure
to recruitment and induction, training, remuneration administration,
performance management and OH&S
- Excellent
communication and 'people' skills
- A
confident and positive attitude
- The
ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- A
professional demeanor
- Exemplary
organisational and administrative skills
- The
ability to work well in a team
