Position: 
Technical Operators
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
 
Job Purpose Statement
 
Responsible for ensuring efficient effective and safe operations, performing basic maintenance of machines to meet safety, quality and production targets
 
Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for adherence to safety practices and understanding of lock out tag out (LOTO) and all safety incidences reporting.
  • Responsible for efficient operations of machines to meet production targets.
  • Carry out good manufacturing practices requirement related to production and machine maintenance.
  • Conduct minor repairs and machine autonomous maintenance
  • Minimize resource wastage
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Have at least two years experience in production in a Manufacturing plant.
  • Effective Communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Be a team player
Position: Team Leaders
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
 
Job Purpose Statement
 
Responsible for making assignments and monitoring production progress, coordination of training and development of peers and responsible for developing implementing continuous improvement activities in the factory that address safety, quality and efficiency
 
Key responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvements initiatives by developing and implementation of systems that optimize business objectives including labour optimization, waste control and safety enhancement
  • Requisition and account for materials to be used at work centres
  • Champion waste reduction in area of jurisdiction  
  • Provide performance coaching and assist in trouble shooting
  • Ensure work conditions enforce safety
Requirements
  • Higher Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Food Science
  • Have at least three years experience in production in a Manufacturing plant.
  • Excellent Communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong Leadership and motivational skills
  • Detailed knowledge of production flows, rates capacities and interrelation of processes
  • Great interpersonal and team working skills
Functional Area: Quality
Position: 
QA Inspector
Reporting to:
 QA Team Leader
 
Job Purpose Statement 

Responsible for monitoring manufacturing process and ensuring products to comply with the Company’s, national and international standards

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and reporting process, GoodManufacturing Practice and food safety parameters
  • Verification of Critical Control Points, OPRPs and PRPs.
  • Sampling and laboratory analysis of packaging, ingredients, WIP and finished product
  • Data analysis, trending and escalation
  • Preparation of samples for shipment and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Raising corrective action requests on near misses and incidents.
  • Ensure product identification and lot traceability
  • Take part in projects for continuous process improvement
Requirements
  • Holders of a Diploma in Food Science and Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy FMCG.
  • Experience in HACCP/ Food safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • Computer literate
Functional Area: Logistics
Position: 
MRP Controller - Engineering Stores
Reporting to: Logistics Manager
 
Job Purpose Statement
 
To lead and support the engineering stores team and to manage and control inventory so that customers receive the right quantity and quality materials at the right time
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Use MRP system according to materials management system to control and monitor inventory so that customers receive the right quantity and quality materials at the right time
  • To manage and operate full IMRP principles to manage inventory with the objective of increasing stock turn.
  • Manage stock losses by implementing appropriate inventory management controls
  • Implement Lean systems to ensure Correct and sufficient stock levels are maintained throughout the year.
  • Reconcile stock with master data to ensure Inventory storage and data are correct and accurate
  • Maintain stores layout to ensure all relevant Environment, health and safety legislation is complied with.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure that purchase orders and scheduled order requirements are complete and are successfully implemented by the vendor.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or BCOM
  • Professional qualifications in CIPS
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy FMCG
  • Excellent planning, leadership, analytical, and organization skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office; Ms Excel & Ms Word.
  • Excellent communication skills (written &oral).
  • Have knowledge about spare parts management, much preferable in FMCG
  • SAP knowledge experience in an engineering set up will be of added advantage.
