Sales Intern

Who Are You?
  • You are target oriented and get the job done. 
  • You are great with people and know how to motivate your surroundings. 
  • Preferably you have sales experience and have trained people before. 
  • You are comfortable with being independent, and you have fun while working! 
  • You love business development and you are flexible and proactive with ideas on how to overcome challenges. 
  • You have a small manager within. 
  • You must be fluent in written and spoken English. 
  • You are systematic and can monitor and track sales.
    It’s ok if you have no prior experience with working in Africa, but you should be comfortable with new cultures.  
  • This is a position where you have the ability to really help shape and grow a new company while making a great social impact.
The Ruby Offer

6 months to one year with a great experience in Kenya, working on the ground and first hand experience with developing a social enterprise. 

A meaningful time where every time we sell a product, we are changing the life of a woman or a girl.

The internship is unpaid but we will provide accommodation, allowance, lunch, and phone credit. Not to mention the possibility for you to discover East Africa in the weekends

Nurse

Who Are You?
  • You have trained people in health before and are good at marketing health products. 
  • You are comfortable with being independent, and you have fun while working! 
  • You love business development in the areas of health and will do everything possible to start the conversation about menstruation and educate girls and women in basic reproductive health. 
  • You are flexible and proactive with ideas on how to overcome challenges. 
  • You are systematic and can monitor sales, which includes managing installment payments i.e. keep track of ingoing and outgoing money. 
  • Most importantly, you should love educating people in the field of menstrual hygiene, hygiene in general and reproductive health. 
  • During events, you should be able to hold presentations to various groups that can differ in size and target audience.

Communications Intern

The Job

You will be our daily voice of communications, the brain behind our strategies to convey stories from Kenya, and you will get people involved in Europe and the States. 

The job ranges from interviewing girls in the slums and communicating their stories in a fun and positive way, to reaching women and Girls in Europe and US and convincing them to buy a Ruby Cup, like, follow and share Ruby Cup, Because they love our brand and what we do AND how we communicate it.

Who Are You?
  • You are a creative and productive mind, and an exceptionally good writer (English).
  • You understand what works online and why you want to get people engaged in your stories. 
  • You often think that if you would be running the communications for a company, it would be so much better, edgy, and definitely more inspiring. And if you know any graphic design, that\'s an extra.
