Part Time Book-Keeper Job in Kenya

We are seeking to recruit a results-oriented and proactive team player to fill the position of Part Time Book-Keeper Position.

Qualifications and skills
  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option) or related field; post graduate degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
  • CPA (K) or equivalent
  • At least five (5) years relevant experience at maintaining Financial of which at least three (3) years should be with a company with Annual Turnover of more than 50 Million.
  • Working knowledge of computer accounting packages with particular emphasis on Excel and Quickbooks Accounting System
  • Very Strong ANALYTICAL and AUDITTING skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and efficient processing of month end data that is in line with Company’s and IAS standards
  • Work closely with the Accountant to ensure timely completion of monthly management accounts.
  • Coordinate key internal financial processes and reviews, including budgeting, group and statutory audits
  • Develop and implement financial management and monitoring system of Head offices, partners and bank accounts
  • Participate in building the capacity of field finance staff and facilitate financial management training for non-finance staff
  • Prepare tax returns. I.E VAT, Income Tax.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
  • Very competent with Computer Programs & Hands on Experience on Power-Point Presentation {SAMPLE WILL BE REQUIRED}.
  • Proficient in written communications.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills.
