IT Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot,
manage and resolve End-user support related calls.
- Primary
Desktop Support (Installation, configuration.
- problem
identification and resolution) for Microsoft products and other supported
products (Windows XP I Windows 7, Office Products etc.) on workstations
- SMA
MPOSP Mobile Devices support for business users and agents
- Support
of printers and other networked peripherals
- First
level support of all business applications
- First
level troubleshooting and resolution of server and network related
incidents
- Ensure
Server backups are performed according to agreed standards
- Ensuring
that all support calls are logged on the Service desk system, escalated
and updated timeously
- Reporting
status to affected end-users and identifying problems and bringing them to
the Manager’s attention with sufficient lead time to avert crises.
- Working
effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team’s goals.
- Engaging

Outputs

professional back office operational support for Microsoft Server and
Network environment.
- Primary
responsibilities are the monitoring, management, and optimisation of
Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. This role requires a highly
proactive approach and will be expected to drive continual improvements to
maintain a highly stable server and network infrastructure.

for backup of company and application data.
