Our client a leading edge engineering and project services
provider wishes to recruit an Engineering Surveyor.
- Ground
Survey, provision and monumentation of controls and weekly survey
supervision.
- Preparation
of the final design drawing and computation of the volumes of earthworks
for the foundation blasting.
- Vertical
and horizontal control provision, route survey, treatment site survey,
long-sectional and cross-sectional profile generation and engineering plan
production.
- Complete
topographical survey for the proposed site, provision, monumentation and
coordination of beacons, providing contour maps of the entire proposed
site for design purposes and provision of a site map showing the entire
infrastructure affected by the project.
- Capturing
the project area on a GIS platform and to a known Geodetic Reference
Frame, capture the properties (Land Parcels) affected by new project.
- Capturing
the existing land use on the proposed site. Creation of a known buffer
zone around the extents of the proposed development.
Requirements
- Higher
National Diploma in Survey.
- Proven
record of at least 5 years in large mechanical and civil works.
- A
mature individual with high level of discretion and unquestionable
integrity.
- This
position is to be filled immediately.
