Expansion of the AMREF International Training Centre
 

The African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) invites tenders for construction works at AMREF International Training Centre, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya. 

The prospective contractor should be registered by Ministry of Public Works as building contractor with more than five years of similar works experience. The main works cover the construction of 3 No. floor building block of 1150m2 floor area.
 

Tender documents, detailing the full description of the works to be carried out, can be obtained from the AMREF Headquarters office, International Training Centre, Langata Road Nairobi upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs.10,000/-.

Tender documents, filled and signed, should be returned and deposited in the tender box situated at AMREF Headquarters Nairobi, so as to be received not later than Friday 31 August 2012 at 11.00 Hrs, local time. Tenders will be opened soon thereafter in the presence of tenderers and/or authorized representatives who choose to attend.
 

There will be a briefing and/or pre-tender meeting for those interested in tendering for the works on Wednesday 22 August 2012, 11.00 Hrs at AMREF Headquarters, Langata Road Nairobi. Contractors should arrange to visit the site at their own cost and convenience.
 

Prices quoted must remain valid for a minimum period of 90 days from the opening date of the tender. AMREF reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the tenders and is not bound to give any reason for acceptance or rejection thereof.
