Request for proposals to provide training services on report writing

The Division of Malaria Control (DOMC) under the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation (MOPHS) in collaboration with USAID’s MEASURE Evaluation invite proposals to provide a three day training workshop on report writing skills.

The training is aimed at equipping participants with essential report writing and presentation skills necessary for effective communication through technical reports, policy briefs and other relevant information products.

The target audience for the training will be senior staff drawn from the DOMC and other divisions under the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation.

The workshop will be held in Nairobi from 28th -30th August 2012. Proposals to provide the above services are invited from suitable firms or vendors who already have a standard report writing curriculum.

Interested firms should send their proposals detailing the following;
  • Company profile or corporate capability statement, outlining relevant experience in providing similar services and brief biographies of the key personnel (no more than 200 words each) who will conduct the training.
  • A Copy of their standard Report Writing Curriculum/Student materials (firms may request for a DOMC standard curriculum and implementation guide (CIG) to assist you in determining the level of detail expected).
  • A cost proposal (labor and other institutional costs e.g. overheads) for training approximately 35-40 participants for three days. Note that hotel and transport costs for the participants will be met by MEASURE Evaluation.
Proposals should be sent by email so as to reach the undersigned by close of business on Friday 20th July 2012.

Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of experience, technical competence of the key staff, the technical quality of the curriculum and implementation guide and the costing proposal.

The top 3 pre-qualified vendors or firms following this initial evaluation will be invited for a formal presentation of their proposed methodology at the DOMC boardroom at a date and time to be communicated to them
