Sponsorship & Promotion Manager
Radio Africa Group, home of Radio and TV talent, is a fast
growing media company running 5 radio stations, one TV channel and a leading
newspaper.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sponsorship and Promotions Manager will manage and grow the Sponsorships and Promotions (S&P) business for the entire group, in line with the Company’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Research,
develop and write promotions, features and sponsorship concepts.
- Provide
leadership ¡n the compilation and scripting of content features and
sponsorships.
- Champion
the brainstorming, conceptualisation and development of Group proposals in
line with the clients’ brief.
- Provide
the sales team guidance on S&P business and participate in relevant
client meetings.
- Coordinate
and ensure the success ofon-ground activations and events.
- Keep
abreast ofchanging trends and ideas and provide guidance in ensuring that
the Company seizes the opportunities.
- Provide
timely guidance to the Sales Team Sponsorships.
- Coach,
mentor and manage the performance of staff within the department.
Qualifications
- University
Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Economics or related field
- Professional
training in marketing/sales/Public Relations is an added advantage
- Minimum
of 3 years experience in a similar position in a busy Agency or
experiential company.
