About the Position
Job Purpose:
The Shop Manager,
Nairobi, has overall responsibility for the smooth functioning of the retail
shop.
Main responsibilities
include:
- Implement
good inventory management to ensure optimal stocks at all times.
- Ensure
highest quality and prompt customer service at all counters.
- Develop
and achieve overall sales targets.
- Assist
to recruit, manage, train and motivate Shop Floor Staff.
- Maintain
good administration.
- Generate
relevant sales reports.
- Implement
innovative ideas to increase footfalls and thus business turnover.
Mandatory Competencies and Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Educational Requirements:
BSc in Agriculture or
Horticulture from a reputable University.
Post graduate
qualifications in Business management from a reputable learning institution.
Degree qualifications
in Business management will be considered if backed by strong relevant
experience.
Relevant Experience:

5 – 7 years experience
in shop management.
Technical experience
in agriculture-related fields.

Excellent proficiency
in English and Kiswahili (written and spoken).
