To effectively manage the growing Consulting business, Deloitte is looking to recruit the following positions all based in the Nairobi office and are expected to provide services to a broad range of clients within the East African Region.

Managers, Human Capital & Strategy and Operations

As a Manager in either Human Capital or Strategy and Operations, you will be a valuable resource in Consulting, focusing on leading teams to deliver solutions for clients as well as:
  • Develop, nurture and grow the existing client portfolio;
  • Establish new client relationships with the aim of growing our client portfolio; and
  • Identify and follow up cross-selling opportunities and act as a link between the Firm and clients.
Specific service line areas of focus will be as follows:

Manager, Human Capital
  • Recruitment and Psychometric Assessments;
  • Organization Redesign;
  • Job Analysis and Job Evaluation;
  • Remuneration Surveys and Salary Structuring;
  • Skills Assessments;
  • Talent Management; and
  • Change Management.
Manager, Strategy and Operations
  • Process design;
  • Organisational Design;
  • Supply Chain Management;
  • Business Model Configuration;
  • Strategy Development and Implementation; and
  • Programme Management.
Qualifications and desired attributes:
  • Bachelors and Masters Degrees in a relevant field;
  • Relevant professional qualifications;
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant work experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects;
  • Good understanding of HR and Strategy and Operations best practices and application of the same;
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills;
  • Excellent relationship building, facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills; and
  • Solid computer literacy (Microsoft Office — Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Managers, Solutions Centre

The role will primarily focus on business development and relationship management in the private sector development and will have the following responsibilities:
  • Drive private sector business development and relationship management to increase the rate of new business, and penetration among existing clients;
  • Proactively develop, package and sell cross-service line opportunities to drive client competitive advantage and/or shareholder value;
  • Implement an internal change management agenda to deliver the firm to existing/prospective clients;
  • Proactive, creative and innovative assessments of private client and industry sector needs and packaging them into winning propositions; and
  • Develop points of view, eminence and research pieces around the pains, challenges and opportunities of the target client profile to drive business development.
Qualifications and desired attributes
  • Bachelors and Masters Degrees in a relevant field;
  • Relevant professional qualifications, with a passion and interest for research and turning it into a proposition;
  • . Minimum of seven (7) years’ work experience with cross-functional experience (project or line responsibility).
  • Experience need not have been gained from consulting;
  • Industry experience in financial services and/or consumer business and transportation is an added advantage;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and initiative;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects;
  • Good understanding of cross service line best practice and applications of the same;
  • Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills;
  • Excellent business development, relationship building, facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical and organization skills; and
  • Solid computer literacy (Microsoft Office — Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Consultants, Human Capital & Strategy and Operations As a Consultant in either Human Capital or Strategy and Operations, you will be a valuable resource in our Consulting function, focusing on the execution of multiple complex projects in the respective service line offerings.

Qualifications and desired attributes:
  • Bachelors degree in a business related field (Masters degree will be an added advantage);
  • Relevant professional qualification;
  • At least three (3) years’ relevant work experience;
  • Strong written, verbal business communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated and self-driven;
  • Good analytical, planning and organization skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and undertake research initiatives; and
  • Solid computer literacy (Microsoft Office — Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
