Description
In order to successfully do so, the Child Protection officer
must be able to effectively communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and
demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that serves as an example to others.
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience: Graduate
degree, preferably in child development, humanitarian aid/development, child
rights, public policy, law, social work or other related field.
At least 3 years of experience working in child protection:
including child protection programme design, implementation and monitoring;
staff training and coaching with an emphasis in the special technical capacity
for the focus of the project.
