We are seeking candidates for an upcoming regional programme focused on strengthening the resiliency and sustainability of East African economies, trans-boundary freshwater ecosystems and communities. 

Candidates with experience in biodiversity conservation/NRM, sustainable access to water, WASH and climate change adaptation are encouraged to apply.

Chief of Party
  • Provide leadership, management and strategic direction to all project activities.
  • Ensure effective planning, management and timely implementation of activities in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree in relevant field, 15 years of relevant experience, and experience managing trans-boundary projects preferred.
Biodiversity Expert
  • Provide technical oversight of activities related to biodiversity conservation and NRM, assessment/monitoring of critical habitats, and integration of climate change adaptation strategies into programming.
  • Advanced degree in relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
WASH Expert
  • Provide technical oversight of activities related to WASH.
  • Advanced degree in relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
Knowledge Management Specialist
  • Provide technical expertise in managing regional knowledge platforms
  • Advanced degree in relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
M&E Specialist
  • Lead all M&E activities.
  • Specialized training in M&E and experience with USAID monitoring preferred.
Financial and Administration Manager
  • Manage project’s financial and day to day administration.
  • 5-7 years’ experience preferred.
All positions are contingent upon the successful award of a contract.
