Admin Assistant / Store Keeper

Our client, a leading agro chemical company seeks to recruit an Administrative Assistant / Storekeeper. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Providing administrative support to the business.
  • Projecting a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
  • Ensuring ordered goods leave on time and according to schedule
  • Overseeing the overall cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Coordinating the casual staff and ensuring they are performing their duties according to expected company standards.
  • Performing general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Supervising the offloading and dispatch of goods.
  • Receiving, storing and issuing supplies and materials as well as compiling records of supply transactions.
  • Verifying that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
  • Inventory management
  • Issuing supplies.
  • Overseeing stock control according to a prescribed computerized inventory system
  • Organizing and controlling the flow of stock.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Diploma in a business related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Outstanding organization and planning skills.
  • Outstanding people skills and communication skills
  • Mature personality and can work with minimal supervision
  • Accounting knowledge is an added advantage
