Our client, a leading agro chemical company seeks to recruit an Administrative Assistant / Storekeeper.
Our client, a leading agro chemical company seeks to recruit an Administrative Assistant / Storekeeper.
The successful
candidate will be responsible for;
- Providing
administrative support to the business.
- Projecting
a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Ensuring
ordered goods leave on time and according to schedule
- Overseeing
the overall cleanliness of the warehouse
- Coordinating
the casual staff and ensuring they are performing their duties according
to expected company standards.
- Performing
general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying,
faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Supervising
the offloading and dispatch of goods.
- Receiving,
storing and issuing supplies and materials as well as compiling records of
supply transactions.
- Verifying
that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
- Inventory
management
- Issuing
supplies.
- Overseeing
stock control according to a prescribed computerized inventory system
- Organizing
and controlling the flow of stock.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Diploma
in a business related field
- Minimum
2 years experience in a similar role.
- Outstanding
organization and planning skills.
- Outstanding
people skills and communication skills
- Mature
personality and can work with minimal supervision
- Accounting
knowledge is an added advantage
