Our client is a motor company that has evolved to form a
multi-business enterprise, comprising automotive and non automotive business,
strategically located to ensure optimal service and delivery output to all
customers.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager – Business
Development Division, he/she will be responsible for the sales promotion and
sales strategy planning on commodity product such as small machinery, chemical
and food etc and coordination with partnering companies in East African
Countries, South Sudan and Ethiopia.
Minimum Qualification
Minimum Qualification
- University
degree in Marketing/ Business Management/Administration
- Sales
qualification
- 3
years experience in similar role in large organization
- 28
years and below
Key Responsibilities
- Promotion
and sales activity on commodity such as machinery, chemical and food etc.
- Market
research and analysis on such product including information collection.
- Development
and coordination on partnering companies
- Daily
and weekly reporting on its activity to the Assistant General Manager
- Planning
of sales and promotion strategy
- Development
of new promoting product.
Competencies and Skills
- Reasonable
knowledge on the small machinery on generators and pumps etc.
- Strong
and aggressive motivation. No hesitation to call and talk to new
people.
- Good
footwork to visit customers or business partners very often in person.
- Speedy
action.
- Ability
to work independently but good to follow the orders and instruction from
the Assistant General Manager and/or his/her senior colleagues.
