Process Associate: Treasury Assistant

Experience:    1-2 Yrs of relevant experience after education

Main Purpose of the Position


The Treasury Assistant is responsible for monitoring and handling manual and electronic bank statement upload and bank account reconciliations. 

Key Outputs & Tasks

  • Responsible for manual and electronic bank statement processing
  • Handle the treasury month-end and quarter-end close tasks as per closing timetable
  • Perform bank account reconciliation as per agreed GL ownership matrix
  • Ensures that all bank-required documentation is complete and submitted timely to banking counterparts.
  • Responsible for activities assigned by the Tower Lead.
  • Ensure both contractual and operational KPIs are met (responsibility of delivering the service within agreed deadlines and at the required quality)
  • Develops good client relationships and good relations with the colleagues
  • Actively seeks opportunities for Continuous Improvement initiatives in cooperation with Tower leader
  • Complies with all client published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.
Educational Experience
  • Accounting, Finance or Business Graduate
Essential Work Experience
  • Must have experience General Accounting
  • Must have Operations Experience
  • Must have experience in Client Management and interaction
Beneficial Work Experience
  • Written and spoken ability to communicate in English
  • Previous accounting experience/studies in particular General Accounting/Record To Report
  • Must be a good team player
  • Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received tasks
  • Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
  • Flexibility, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
  • Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted tasks (thinking outside the box is a plus)
  • Experience with accounting systems (SAP)
  • Microsoft Office skills
