Marketing Executive (Africa Magic) Job in Kenya


M-Net Africa seeks to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to help maximize exposure for its channels in the capacity of Marketing & Publicity Executive: East Africa

This person will primarily report to the Marketing Manager, and will be based at our offices in Nairobi.

  • Advertising agencies & production houses

  • Multichoice Africa Management
Outputs
  • Services and information that the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisations mission and strategy:
  • Create and distribute original press release materials within deadlines supporting brand, channels and Multichoice Africa business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relations with Africa press/media liaise with On Air, Advertising and Production Agencies to ensure campaigns are rolled out as per plans
  • Develop, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, and implement, an integrated marketing programme for Africa Magic channels’ to promote the brand amongst all key stakeholders, including audiences and the media.
  • Manage and co-ordinate events by ensuring that all events are executed as per brief, purpose and budget
  • Liaise with Multichoice Africa and South Africa’s marketing teams to ensure campaigns are rolled out timeously
  • Be continuously proactive in looking out for opportunities to promote the Africa Magic brand in market through partnerships with media houses and other partners
  • Help drive the retention and growth of viewership on the channels by showing a clear understanding of consumer behavior and align scheduling strategies to this.
  • With the help of the research department, track research trends and react with appropriate plans and measures.
  • Continually seek ways to improve the image of the channels and build strong awareness of these channels into the relevant markets.
