Manager -
Legal Services - ICT Sector
Our Client, an ambitious and rapidly growing Group of Companies in the ICT sector in Kenya with business interests in the region, is seeking to recruit a qualified and assertive Manager, to handle legal affairs of the various business units within the group.
Being a new role, the successful candidate will report to the Group Head of
Legal and shall be responsible for compliance, standards and regulations within
the business services.Our Client, an ambitious and rapidly growing Group of Companies in the ICT sector in Kenya with business interests in the region, is seeking to recruit a qualified and assertive Manager, to handle legal affairs of the various business units within the group.

Key Accountabilities
- Negotiating
and drafting of Contracts and Agreements
- Advising
on all legal and regulatory matters including governance issues and preparing
legal opinions
- Handling
the constitution of the Board and Stakeholders meetings
- Ensuring
safe custody of collaterals and chattels and other company properties
- Coordinating
and issuance of legal undertakings
- Managing
an effective filing system of records and contracts and other corporate
documents
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
- Bachelors
degree in Law and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- Must
hold a current Law Practicing Certificate
- Must
be proficient in computer use and exposed to computerized accounting
systems
- Experience
of a minimum of 2 years as a practicing Advocate
- Qualified
CPS would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent
oral and written communication skills
- Assertive
with well developed administrative, planning and coordination abilities
- Committed,
dependable and with a high degree of integrity
