Internal Audit Assistant
The internal audit department has a need for an audit assistant who will carry out the following functions.
Provide an
independent, objective assurance and consulting service to management, with the
principal aims of evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk
management, control and governance processes;
Conduct forensic
investigation in case of purported fraud to gather evidence for possible
prosecution.
Conduct scheduled and
special audits and make recommendations for improvement.
Any other appropriate
duties as may be defined from time to time by the audit manager.
Knowledge, Skills and
Experience
The applicant must:
- Have at
least a first degree in Accounting or finance.
- Must be
a CPA (K) or related qualification.
- Minimum
of 2 years relevant experience.
- Good
knowledge of large Application systems, and proficiency in the use of
computer packages..

to communicate effectively both orally and verbally with external parties
and senior managers.
- Have
good analytical and problem solving skills.
- A
self-starter with excellent organizational, planning, controlling and
interpersonal skills.
