Kenya Fluorspar Company is a corporate concern based in the
Kerio Valley with a work force of about 370 employees and 250 on outsourced
activities.
We produce fluorspar for world export markets only.

Human Resource Manager
The Human Resource Manager will handle the following duties:-
- Recruitment
of staff;
- Ensure
contracts and personal records of staff are done and up to date;
- Oversee
house allocations and ensure houses are in good order at all times;
- Handle
discipline and grievance procedure;
- Determine
training needs and arrange for required training courses;
- Handle
the Union and any issues that may arise. Also handle the bi-annual wage
negotiations;
- Succession
planning to ensure staff continuity;
- Over
see the Community Liaison Officer and his functions;
- Liaise
with local community leaders as and when the need arises.
- Must
be qualified and speaking of the kalenjin dialect a requirement.
- Will
be expected to stay at the Mine.
Community Liaison Officer
- Interact
with the local communities surrounding the Mine;
- Be
in constant communication with local leaders and elders;
- Communicate
events and items of interest between the Company and communities;
- Represent
the Company at forums /committees where issues of mutual concern is
discussed
- Handles
the Company’s CSR program;
- Responsible
for the annual CSR project by means of finding viable projects;
- Reports
to the HR Manager;
- Must
have formal qualification and previous experience in dealing with
communities;
- Speak
English and Kiswahili
- Speaking
of the Kalenjin dialect is a definite requirement.
