A unique position has opened for a Male
Personal Manager (MPM) to work
with the Managing Partner of one of the largest law firms in Kenya.
The MPM is needed to assist the Managing Partner to handle his very busy calendar and to take on some of the duties that do not require his personal attention, both within the firm and in connection with other responsibilities that the Managing Partner undertakes in his personal capacity.
You must therefore, by nature, be very flexible, hands-on, and a multi-tasker
in order to make things happen.The MPM is needed to assist the Managing Partner to handle his very busy calendar and to take on some of the duties that do not require his personal attention, both within the firm and in connection with other responsibilities that the Managing Partner undertakes in his personal capacity.
You must be able to handle hectic work schedules, have high endurance and be willing to work long and odd hours.
You should be able to manage multiple projects at a time, carry out all necessary research and follow through on all tasks.
At the end of the day, the MPM must keep the Managing Partner fully abreast of all the day’s events.
In other words, the MPM must be willing to take all measures to meet schedules, deadlines and demands of the Managing Partner. Discretion is an absolute must and a ‘can do’ attitude is always required.
In addition to all the above, the person must also possess all the below listed specifications:
- Educated
at least to degree level.
- Excellent
typing skills- high standard of computer literacy, speed and accuracy
essential (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience
of working within an international environment, ideally within an
international organization, or multinational private sector.
- Excellent
organizational skills.
- Outstanding
verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior
command of written and spoken English.
- A
meticulous and thorough nature.
- Willingness
to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proven
ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Bright,
confident personality.
- High
energy.
- Well
presented.
- High
initiative.
- Flexible
and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised.
- Willingness
to travel at relatively short notice.
