Pathfinder International is an international non-profit
organization that is dedicated to supporting high-quality comprehensive
reproductive health services in Kenya. We are seeking highly motivated,
talented and hard working individual for the position of Grants Officer for our
Nairobi office
- Reporting
to the Grants Manager the incumbent will be responsible for sub-grant
compliance as well as programmatic guidance and support.
- This
will include reviewing of new subgrant proposals, processing of sub-grant
agreements and subsequent modifications and monitoring programmatic
aspects of the sub-grant during the sub-award period and closing of the
sub-award.
- S/he
will be responsible for development of procedural documents and processes
and ensure that pre-award risk assessments are carried out on each grantee
and that decisions are incorporated into grant awards
Job Requirements
- A
degree in Social Sciences, Project Planning and Management.
- At
least 5 years work experience managing sub-award, proposal development and
budget writing.
- Strong
understanding of USG funding requirements
- Past
experience in HIV/AIDS programming.
- Must
possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly
proficient in MS Office, spreadsheets and database skills
- Working
knowledge of regulations applicable to grants management and
administration
- Good
analytical skills to successfully perform financial reviews and other
quantitative analysis
