We are a printing firm seeking to fill the position of an
Accounts Assistant who will be reporting to the Head of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and coordination of the audit process.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Responsible for preparation of timely monthly reports, year end reports and
preparation of trial balances Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for processing and posting nominal ledgers, journals, cash transactions onto the system (SAGE accounting)
Responsible for updating and reconciling debtors accounts
Administration
Required:
CPA 1 section 3
Relevant degree (Not a must)
Good working experience
Excellent analytical skills.
Highly motivated, energetic, independent self-starter with strong communication skills.
Proficiency in MS office (Word/Excel)
Demonstrate strong proficiency in accounting software packages with a bias in Sage Accounting (a must)
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure, deliver quality results and meet deadlines
Honesty and integrity
Ability to work with people
Team player, flexible and adaptable to different work conditions
