Location: Both positions are based at our Naivasha Region, an operation which employs 4,500 people.
Senior Engineer
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Senior Engineer will:
- supervise
external contractors working for the company, schedule site meetings and
attend the meeting as the secretary
- Supervise
graduate engineers and technicians including managing their performance
- design
and prepare drawings for civil engineering projects
- prepare
tender documents and carry out tender evaluations
- ensure
works are measured and prepare payment certificates for the contractors
- monitor
and control the projects to ensure that they are completed on time and
within the budget
- plan
materials requirement, liaise with procurement unit and the stores to
ensure that materials are available on time while controlling the levels
of inventory
Desired Competencies/qualifications:
- BSC
in civil Engineering from a recognized university
- 10
years experience in design and supervision of engineering projects in a
busy organization
- Proficiency
in AutoCAD
- Self
driven, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and unquestionable integrity
Workshop Administration Manager
Reporting to the General Manager - Services, the Workshop Administration Manager will be responsible for:

- fuel
administration across the regional fuel stations including stock level,
receiving and issuing records
- managing
the workshop store and constantly monitoring stock levels
- managing
the process of scrapping workshop items
- maintaining
the muster roll for the services department
- ensuring
that vehicle service records are kept up to date and that service
schedules are well kept
- ensuring
that the office, workshop compound and wash bay areas are clean and tidy
all the time
- maintain
the asset register for all machines and vehicles
- establish
and maintain methods of consistently tracking productivity, efficiency and
work quality
- manage
individual employee performance and effectiveness
- manage
department expenses effectively
Desired Competencies/qualifications:
- University
degree in Engineering and/ or management related discipline
- Minimum
five (5) years relevant experience
- Well
developed IT skills including Ms Office packages
- Excellent
managerial and administrative skills
- Working
knowledge of a fleet management system
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and unquestionable integrity
