1. Clerical Officer II

(A) Requirement for appointment

i. Kenya certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C-(Minus)or its approved
 equivalent

ii. Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage.

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

Work
 at this level will be carried out under close supervision and guidance of a more senior officer and will be subject to regular checks and verification. Officers at this level will be deployed in the HRM Unit, General Registry, Supplies, Accounts office or General Office Services. 

Specific duties will include compiling statistical records; sorting, filing and dispatching letters, maintaining an efficient filing system; processing appointment, promotions; discipline, transfers and other related duties in Human Resource Management; computation of financial or statistical records based on routing or special sources of information; preparing payment vouchers; compiling data and drafting simple letters.

2. Senior Support Staff / Cleaning Supervisor III

(A) Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to the grade of senior Support staff/cleaning supervisor III an officer must have the following:

i. Must be a holder of a minimum of Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) Division IV or

ii. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE )mean grade ‘D’ (plain)

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

Assignments’- carrying out cleaning and messengerial duties as instructed.

3. Senior Security Warden

(A) Requirement for Appointment

For appointments to this grade an officer must:

Have served satisfactorily in the grade of Security Warden I, Job Group ‘F’ for at least three (3)
 years; and

(i) Possess a valid Basic First Aid Certificate and have proven experience in First Aid.

(ii) Be in possession of a valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police.

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Security Warden will deputize for the Security Officer-in-charge and will assist in supervision wardens in shift. He may also be deployed to man duty security office.

4. Security Warden II

(A) Requirements for Appointment

(i) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean grade ‘D+’(plus) or its equivalent qualification.

(ii) Less than 36 years of age

(iii) Be physically and mentally fit

(iv) Be in possession of a valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police

(B) Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve:

Before deployment, direct entrants will undergo three (3) months initial training as security warden - III and on successful completion, duties and responsibilities will involve patrol and /or guard of access points, detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and / or protect areas and also be able to control crowds, collect information and report on matters of security interest.

Successful candidates will be deployed in any of the station within the Ministry.
