Chief Steward Job Vacancy in a Nairobi Five Star Hotel

A leading five star hotel in Nairobi is urgently looking for a suitable individual to fill the above position.

Qualification / Experience

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-
  • Inventory and control of all F&B equipment.
  • Cleanliness and sanitation of all the areas of Food and Beverage
  • Supervision, control and duty allocation to the Kitchen stewards.
  • Training all Kitchen stewards on proper hygiene standards and sanitation guidelines

The position is challenging and calls for self motivated, confident and imaginative individual with the following attributes:-
  • Aged 30 - 45 years
  • At least five years experience in a similar position, preferably from afive star hotel establishment.
  • Good knowledge of detergents and sanitation guidelines
  • HACCP awareness.
  • Ability to communicate with F&B and stewarding team
  • Good supervisory skills
  • Computer literate
