Manufacturing company based in industrial area
seeks Senior Negotiator at managerial level with strong HR, PR and
administration skills.
Will be expected to manage a large industrial workforce plus deal with unions and government regulators.
Good communicator who is able to gain the respect of the labour force, inspire confidence and keep management properly informed of matters affecting staff welfare, productivity and security.
Only candidates with proven ability to analyze and organize staff utilization will be considered.
HR

HR
- Ongoing
assessment of labour force, analysis of skill deployment and efficient
utilization;
- Payroll
analysis, understanding of financial participation of various departments
and ability to collate and report financial information to management;
- Proactive
management of labour force, pre-emptive approach to labour problems and
solution based approach to unions;
- Good
knowledge of labour laws and conscientious adherence to legal procedures
when dealing with new hires, disciplinary matters or retrenchments.
- Monitor
changes in labour laws and industry specific government regulations;
- Encourage
teamwork by organizing social get-togethers for staff and find ways to
increase productivity and co-operation amongst labour force.
PR
- Communicate
with and maintain good relationships with other major participants in the
FMCG industry;
- Monitor
external security risks and maintain good relationships with relevant
government institutions and security bodies.
Administration
- Management
of premises, offices and amenities;
- Implement
internal security controls;
- Obtain
and renew licenses required by law (including fire and safety);
- Maintain
good relationships with city council, local DC and utility suppliers.
Salary
& Benefits:
Kshs. 300,000/- to 500,000/- above depending on experience . Other benefits offered
