Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor Job in Nairobi Kenya

ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation and the Ministry of Medical Services to strengthen HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services in the country.

This program is funded by PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Applications are invited for the position of
 Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor.

Location:
 Nairobi with frequent travel

Overall Function:

To provide technical support in the planning and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (ME) activities within the ICAP HIV prevention, care and treatment program in Eastern, Central and Nyanza Province.

The appointee will work closely with the in-country Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Research.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide technical support to regional teams Coordinate training and mentorship of ICAP ME Officers through Support national ME activities at ICAP-supported (GoK) facilities and districts
  • Oversee data management for donor reporting
  • Coordinate data analysis and presentation
  • Oversee data use at ICAP-supported (GoK) facilities
  • Contribute to program evaluation
  • Contribute to implementation science and research studies
Requirements:
  • Advanced Degree (minimum Masters) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health
  • At least 5 years experience in monitoring and evaluation systems in HIV programs
  • Strong supervisory and management skills
  • Strong data management and data analysis skills
