Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Kenyan nationals for the following positions:

Position:
 Nutrition Project Officer 

2 Positions

Location:
 Kajiado or Moyale

Duration:
 1 year (with possible extension subject to availability of funds)

Reporting to:
 Nutrition Project Manager Kajiado or Moyale

Job Summary:

To provide technical leadership, guidance and training as well as providing hands on support to Ministry of Health (MoH), local partners and community groups to enhance their capacity and skills in the rollout of High Impact Nutrition interventions.

Person Specification
  • A degree in nutrition or nursing with a strong clinical background
  • At least three years clinical experience
  • At least one year experience working in nutrition interventions, preferably IMAM
  • Experience/knowledge of MoH systems, particularly at the provincial and district level
  • Knowledge/experience of the challenges of working with and through local partners.
  • Familiarity with/experience in the public health approach
  • Computer and report writing skills
  • Fluent in English
