General Manager (Technical) and Procurement & Supply Chain Senior Manager Jobs in Dar Tanzania

1. General Manager – Technical

To head Production, Quality Assurance/Quality Control / Regulatory departments.

To be based in Dar-el-Salaam, Tanzania
  • Collate site SOPs.
  • Provide review support & implementation of Corporate guidance’s in site practices.
  • Ensure site compliance status through corporate audits.
  • Initiate innovative tools & make site visits to ensure achieving the best practices.
  • Design and implement quality systems as per the requirement Food & Drug Authority.
  • Review and upgrade such systems to ensure if effective usage at all time and prepare people for qualification of the audit requirements of various approving bodies.
Candidate Profile:

  • Aged between 40 – 45 years with the following qualifications and skills:
  • University Graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
  • Assertive, Tactful & Diplomatic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • No less than 15 - 20 years proven managerial experience in a busy pharma environment.
  • Must be fully conversant with Validations, Documentation and Audits
  • An Active Listener
  • Proficient in IT
2. Senior Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain

To head Purchase, logistics and Supply Chain

To be based in Dar-el-Salaam, Tanzania
  • Manage and implement Sourcing Programs from Countries across regions.
  • Champion the use of “best! In class” Sourcing tools and maximize the opportunity to exploit digital solutions throughout the procurement process. Work with business stakeholders, procurement and external supply base to promote and utilized sourcing / eSourcing technology for supplier engagement.
  • Support the Production Procurement team to implement procurement strategies in order to achieve assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, risk mitigation. Establish & maintain appropriate relationships with suppliers
  • Manage and develop team
Candidate Profile:
  • Aged between 40 – 45 years with the following qualifications and skills:
  • MBA in operations management / Professional degree in procurement.
  • 15 - 20 years of work experience in good procurement practices & supply chain is essential.
  • Strategic Procurement professional & eSourcing skills
  • Ability to communicate, engage and Influence at all levels of management
