Factory General Manager
Factory General Manager
- BSc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, min 10 years’ experience with projects in construction, min 5 years management experience
- MS Office proficiency and excellent command of oral & written English
- Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation and tendering procedures
- Must have experience in managing several large projects simultaneously
- Must have experience leading/motivating a team and establishing and monitoring KPIs with timely and accurate reporting
- Results oriented, accountability focused, focus on quality and safety
Sales Representative
- Degree in Business/Marketing, min 3 years’ strong sales experience in construction related sales with proven track record
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel and Power-point) with excellent command of oral and written English and Kiswahili
- A thorough technical understanding of construction methods
- Ability to source strong leads using contacts within the construction industry
- Possess business etiquette with a strong work ethic, high level of honesty/integrity, results oriented, ability to deliver under pressure
- Willingness to travel within Kenya, possession of National ID
Machine Operator
- Diploma cert in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with min 3 years’ experience with a fully automated electro-mechanical CNC system
- Experience in use of sheet metal manufacturing CNC equipment an asset, ability to set up/operate hydraulic CNC precision equipment
- The use of hand tools, small power tools, hydraulic brake press, and measuring devices
- Fabricate metal parts using the CNC punch press to produce parts in accordance with the specifications of the printouts
- Proficiency of both oral and written English, results oriented, strong focus on quality and safety
Detailer/Design Engineer
- BSc. ¡n Civil or Structural Engineering, with min of 3 years’ experience in CAD detailing/design and min 3 years’ experience in civil construction works
- Experience with ArchiCad/AutoCad 2010 and 3D design, MS Office proficiency
- Hands-on experience in BOQ prep & tender procedures, must have experience managing several large projects at once
- Excellent proficiency of both oral and written English
- Strong analytical, problem solving & project management skills, results oriented, excellent attention to detail, focus on quality and safety
- Willingness to travel as necessary across construction sites
Duties include:
- coordination of framing plans & other engineer data,
- ensures accuracy of drawings,
- interprets arch & engineer drawings to prepare shop drawings for buildings,
- prepare elevations and details of walls and trusses,
- ensure compliance of components,
- write RFI’s to consultants,
- produce material cut item list and dispatch lists,
- prepare construction/assembly details,
- prepare BOQ for estimation team
