Risk and Compliance Manager Job in Nairobi Kenya

A medium sized risk and financial services institution based in Nairobi is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the position of Risk and Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for effective mitigation of internal and external risk through identifying, evaluating and recommending controls and procedures to reduce or eliminate such possible risk.

Essential Academic/Professional Qualifications
  • Business Degree in Marketing, Insurance, Finance or Business administration or any other relevant Degree
  • Post Graduate qualification in Insurance is an added advantage
  • Certificate of proficiency in Insurance

Work Experience
  • A minimum of 7 years experience
  • Knowledge in Insurance Auditing, Underwriting or Marketing
  • Experience in different Business Sectors
  • Work experience with various systems such as ERP or AIMS

  • Leadership and Management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Good IT and spreadsheet skills
