Investment Officer

based Juba, South Sudan, pos number: 110924

As part of the East Africa Regional Team, the Investment Officer will identify and evaluate new business opportunities in South Sudan, Africa’s newest nation.

He/she will support sector teams for transactions, manage portfolio projects, establish and maintain strong client relationships and work closely with all stakeholders to maximize the developmental impact of IFC’s projects, contributing to the economic growth of the country and its industries.

The entry grade of final candidate will be determined by his/her seniority and depth of experience in project and structured finance.

Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent and substantial experience in finance with a proven track record of sourcing, structuring and closing investments
  • Strong credit skills and demonstrated ability to structure a variety of financial instruments (loan and equity)
  • Broad knowledge of Sub-Saharan Economies; genuine commitment to sustainable development and highest ethical standards
