Africa Regional Procurement Hub Manager Job in Nairobi Kenya

Based in Nairobi, Kenya and working closely with the Crown Agents procurement delivery organizations worldwide and the Kenya Country Manager, this role requires a highly skilled Procurement professional to manage the Hub Procurement business, focusing on its profitability and growth.

You will oversee the purchasing function ensuring that it is carried out in compliance with Crown Agents procedures and standards of ethical procurement, aid donor guidelines and end user requirements.

You will also coach and mentor the existing procurement team ensuring that sufficient skilled and engaged staff are in place to deliver to maximum capability.

An entrepreneurial approach to work, excellent client facing, negotiation and project management skills are key for this position as well as the ability to win credibility in a multi-cultural setting.

To be considered for this role, you should hold a basic Degree or preferably a Master’s degree and full CIPS qualifications, minimum of 10 years’ post qualification experience at a senior level within commercial / international donor organization.

Sound knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Regulations, familiarity with and ability to apply relevant donor regulations e.g. JNPGA, DFID, WB, EU, Global Fund etc.
